Photosynthesis is essential for the accumulation of organic compounds in plant leaves. Study of photosynthesis in the leaves of Broussonetia papyrifera is crucial for enhancing its biomass production, growth, and development. Here, we cloned the SikPsaF gene associated with photosynthesis from Saussurea involucrata and constructed a vector that was introduced into B.

The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is usually acquired during infancy as an asymptomatic infection and persists throughout life in a latent state under the control of the host immune system. However, EBV is associated with various malignant diseases that preferentially develop in immunodeficient individuals. Accumulating evidence suggests an important role for NK cells, though the mechanisms by which EBV evades or triggers NK cell responses are poorly understood.

Several blinding diseases affecting the retina and optic nerve are exacerbated by or caused by dysregulated inflammation and oxidative stress. These diseases include uveitis, age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Consequently, despite their divergent symptoms, treatments that reduce oxidative stress and suppress inflammation may be therapeutic.

Human leukocyte antigens (HLAs) are polymorphic glycoproteins expressed on the cell surface of nucleated cells and consist of two classes, HLA class I and HLA class II. In contrast, in mice, these molecules, known as H-2, are expressed on both nucleated cells and erythrocytes. HLA-I molecules (Face-1) are heterodimers consisting of a polypeptide heavy chain (HC) and a light chain, B2-microglobulin (B2m).

The molecular mechanisms behind electrotaxis remain largely unknown, with no identified primary direct current electric field (dcEF) sensor. Two leading hypotheses propose mechanisms involving the redistribution of charged components in the cell membrane (driven by electrophoresis or electroosmosis) and the asymmetric activation of ion channels. To investigate these mechanisms, we studied the dynamics of electrotactic behaviour of mouse 3T3 fibroblasts.
