Stone-event-free survival after retrograde intrarenal surgery: is the stone-free-status so relevant for the future outcomes?

Int Urol Nephrol

December 2024

Department of Urology, Unidade Local de Saúde de Santo António, Centro Hospitalar Universitário Do Porto, 8th floor, Largo Do Prof. Abel Salazar, 4099-001, Porto, Portugal.

Thus, surgical intervention is crucial to prevent irreversible damage, as timely decompression can halt the progression of edema and subsequent optic atrophy.

We report on how nasal airway patency varies as a function of technique and patient demographic factors.
