The threat associated with physical interaction in teaching and learning timed with the COVID-19 pandemic has rendered faculty in a situation that they were not entirely prepared for. This paper describes a case study where educational videos were used in short format to help faculty progress in their adaptation to virtual teaching. The initiative describes the adaptations done to the videos and making them ore accessible to faculty. The channel experienced a 300% increase in viewership. There is an inherent need for training on using virtual classroom tools and adapting teaching strategies to these virtual tools. Using 5-7 minute videos proved useful in this area.

Stereolithography three-dimensional (3D) printing technology enables the customization of ceramic-based solid electrolyte structures with desired electrochemical properties; however, formulating slurries that both are highly ceramic-loaded and have low viscosity for printing poses a challenge. Here, we propose an ionogel-coated ceramic approach to prepare a shear-thinning fast-ion conductor ceramic (LiLaZrTaO) slurry, which possesses both a high ceramic content of 50 wt % and a low viscosity of 1.53 Pa·s.

Background: Conventional post-stroke edema management strategies are limitedly successful as in multiple cases of hemorrhagic transformation is being reported. Clinically, acute-ischemic-stroke (AIS) intervention by endovascular mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have shown benefits by altering various signaling pathways. Our previous studies have reported that intra-arterial administration of 1*10 MSCs (IA-MSCs) were beneficial in alleviating post-stroke edema by modulating PKCδ/MMP9/AQP4 axis and helpful in preserving the integrity of blood-brain-barrier (BBB).

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a distinctive epithelial cancer closely associated with Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) infection, posing significant challenges in diagnosis and treatment due to its resistance to conventional therapies and high recurrence rates. Current therapies, including radiotherapy and chemotherapy, exhibit limited efficacy, particularly in recurrent or metastatic cases, highlighting the urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies. Targeting EBV oncoproteins, such as Epstein-Barr Virus encoded Nuclear Antigen 1 (EBNA1), Latent Membrane Protein 1 (LMP1), and Latent Membrane Protein 2 (LMP2), presents a promising therapeutic avenue in NPC treatment.

Background: Information on the clinical characteristics and outcomes of children undergoing continuous kidney replacement therapy (CKRT) from lower-middle-income countries (LMIC) is limited.
Methods: Records of consecutive children 1 month to 18 years of age who underwent CKRT from Jan 2016 to Jan 2024 in a tertiary care pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed for clinical and machine-related characteristics, and outcomes.
Results: Over the 8-year period, 102 patients (61.
