The precision and safety of robotic applications rely on accurate robot models. Bayesian Neural Networks (BNNs) offer the capability to acquire intricate models and provide insights into inherent uncertainties. While recent studies have successfully employed machine learning to predict the Forward Geometric Model (FGM) of a 6-DOF (degrees of freedom) parallel manipulator, traditional methods lack predictive uncertainty estimation.

Purpose: To quantify the effect of increasing the posterior tibial slope (PTS) on knee kinematics and the resultant medial and lateral meniscal forces.
Methods: In this controlled laboratory study, a 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) robotic testing system was used to apply external loading conditions to seven fresh-frozen human cadaveric knees: (1) 200-N axial compressive load, (2) 5-N m internal tibial +10-N m valgus torque and (3) 5-N m external tibial + 10-N m varus torque. Knee kinematics and the resultant medial and lateral meniscal forces were acquired for two PTS states: (1) native PTS and (2) increased PTS.

Purpose: To evaluate the association between the newly developed region of interest (ROI)-modified Mayo Adhesive Probability (MAP) score, in which stranding was re-evaluated by computed tomography (CT) number, for predicting operation time in robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN).
Methods: The study participants were 119 patients who underwent transperitoneal RAPN. With regard to stranding, ROIs were evaluated, and the mean CT numbers were assigned a score ranging from 0 to 3.

Background: Application of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) pathways in robotic lobectomy have been associated with decreased length of stay (LOS). We evaluated differences in patient characteristics and achievements of ERAS benchmarks by discharge groups at a tertiary referral center.
Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of a prospectively maintained ERAS database of patients undergoing robotic lobectomy for pulmonary malignancy.
