Gastric cancer is a significant health concern worldwide, and its diagnosis and management are of paramount importance. Ectopic pancreas (EP) refers to an embryological abnormality where healthy pancreatic tissue develops without anatomical, vascular, or neural communication with the normal pancreas. We report the case of a patient whose initial endoscopic evaluation suggested early gastric cancer, but computed tomography scan (CT scan) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) indicated a locally advanced tumor.

The surprise finding of a mucocele during an emergency laparotomy highlights the deceptive nature of certain clinical manifestations within the hepatobiliary domain. The intraoperative discovery of a 1×1 cm GB hole on the right lateral wall of the GB fundus revealed an unexpected and significant deviation from the hypothesized pathogenesis.

Background: Gastroparesis is a condition that affects the motility of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, causing a delay in the emptying process and leading to nausea, vomiting, bloating, and upper abdominal pain. Motility treatment along with symptom management can be done using antiemetics or prokinetics. This study highlights the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges of gastroparesis and suggests a potential link between facial trauma and symptom remission, indicating the need for further investigation.
