t(11;22)(q13;q11)/-IGL resulted in truncation of the 3′ coding sequences in a case of blastoid variant mantle cell lymphoma. The translocation generated CCND1 with a C-terminal alteration, leading to negative CCND1 immunohistochemistry by SP4 monoclonal antibody.

Determining whether an ipsilateral breast carcinoma recurrence is a true recurrence or a new primary remains challenging based solely on clinicopathologic features. Algorithms based on these features have estimated that up to 68% of recurrences might be new primaries. However, few studies have analyzed the clonal relationship between primary and secondary carcinomas to establish the true nature of recurrences.

Lack of efficient biomarkers and clinical translation of molecular typing impedes the implementation of targeted therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). High-throughput sequencing techniques represented by next-generation sequencing (NGS) are tools for detecting targetable genes. The objective of this study is to explore the genetic alterations associated with clinicopathological features and the risk of recurrence/metastasis in HCC.

Objectives: Metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1 (MALAT1) is known to be upregulated in the tumors with ability to metastasize. In contrast, long non-coding Ribonuclei acid (lncRNA) MALAT1 was reported by some studies to be downregulated in meningioma cells.  E-cadherin and Cyclin D1 are prognostic indicators and possible attractive targets for the treatment of recurring and aggressive meningioma.

Objectives: The positive expression of Cyclin D1 in immunohistochemical (IHC) staining serves as the cornerstone for diagnosing mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). However, existing literature does not conclusively establish whether the expression ratio and staining intensity significantly influence diagnostic outcomes or patient prognosis. In this retrospective study, the correlation between comprehensive Cyclin D1 quantification and the prognosis of MCL patients was studied.
