Background: Non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) are environmental agents that can cause opportunistic pulmonary disease in humans and animals, often misdiagnosed as tuberculosis (TB). In this study, we describe the cases of NTM identified during the first national anti-TB drug resistance survey conducted in Mali and explore associated risk factors.
Methods: Sputum was collected from people presenting for pulmonary TB diagnosis from April to December 2019, regardless of age.

Background: Mucormycosis can be lethal in people with immunocompromising conditions, especially Diabetes Mellitus. Correction of the underlying disorders, instant initiation of antifungal therapy, and surgical resection are the main components of treatment. Herin, we present the successful medical management of Mucormycosis in a patient with Diabetic Ketoacidosis and positive SARS-CoV-2 test who presented with a less seen condition: the simultaneity of mediastinal mass on one side and an endobronchial mass on the other.

Background: Multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) results in treatment failure and poor clinical outcomes. This study was carried out with the aim to determine the pattern of drug resistance against Mycobacterium tuberculosis towards first line ATT (anti-tubercular treatment) in sputum smear-positive patients using Line Probe Assay (LPA).
Methods: A cross sectional prospective study was carried out in a tertiary care Hospital of Meerut.
