Background: The use of dissimilar materials used as posts, luting agents, and the core often makes the restorative procedure quite complicated, as each material demands its own technical process. Furthermore, it may not necessarily result in better collective physical properties.
Aim: The aim of this study was to analyze the pushout bond strength of a zirconia-based core buildup material in cementing two fiber posts.
Methods: Eighty single-rooted mandibular premolars were decoronated, endodontically treated, post space prepared, and randomly assigned to one of the following four groups: carbon fiber post luted with PermaCem 2.0, carbon fiber post luted with LuxaCore Z Dual, glass fiber post luted with PermaCem 2.0, and glass fiber post luted with LuxaCore Z Dual. Pushout bond strength was evaluated in a universal testing machine for each of the 2 ± 0.5 mm sections obtained from the samples (total 160 sections).
Statistical Analysis: One-way ANOVA and tests were used for statistical analysis.
Results: The glass fiber posts cemented with LuxaCore Z showed significantly higher pushout bond strength ( < 0.001).
Conclusion: LuxaCore Z Dual-core build material was more effective as a luting agent for glass fiber post cementation.

Purpose: The effect of exercise on serum concentration of vitamin D metabolites remains inconclusive, with studies reporting deviating results. This study evaluated the acute effect of a single session of two specific exercise forms; strength training (ST) and high-intensity interval training (HIIT), on circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D), free25(OH)D and 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (1,25(OH)2D), and skeletal muscle vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene expression, in healthy adults.
Methods: Thirty-nine participants (19 women and 20 men, age 21-30 years) completed a single bout of ST and HIIT exercise, separated by two weeks.

Internal tremor (IT) is often reported by patients with post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2, also known as Long COVID, as a distressing and disabling symptom. Similarly, physicians are typically perplexed by the nature and etiology of IT and find it extremely challenging to manage. We describe a patient with Long COVID who experienced IT as part of post-COVID postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and small fiber neuropathy (SFN) and review the limited literature available on this topic.

This study evaluated the effect of resin cements and post-space irrigation solutions on the push-out bond strength of diabetic and non-diabetic dentin. A total of 160 human central teeth (80 diabetic, 80 non-diabetic) were prepared using X5 files and obturated with AH Plus sealer and X5 gutta-percha. Post spaces were prepared, and teeth were divided into eight groups based on resin cements (Variolink N, Panavia SA Universal) and irrigation protocols (saline, saline + 2% CHX).

When measuring real-time in vivo muscle fatigue with electromyography (), data collection can be compromised by premature sensor removal or environmental noise; therefore, the objective of this study was to develop a postmortem in vivo methodology to induce muscle fatigue and measure it using EMG. Barrows ( = 20) were stratified by weight and randomly allocated into one of two treatments. The treatments consisted of barrows being subjected to a hog electric stunner super-contraction cycle () or not () postmortem.

Background: cattle is known to be temperamental and to produce beef with greater variability in terms of quality compared to beef of . Cattle adaptability and resilience are of great importance to sustain beef production worldwide.
Objective: The study aimed to understand early post-mortem metabolites among muscles with different fiber types profile of calm and excitable Nellore, as well as its relationship with fragmentation of beef aged up to 28 d.
