A 28-year-old woman was referred to our hospital for liver dysfunction and neck pain. Blood tests revealed elevated liver enzymes and eosinophilia. Ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging showed a mass lesion near the hepatic hilus. The tumor was considered to be an inflammatory pseudo-tumor or malignancy. A liver-mass biopsy was performed and led to a diagnosis of inflammatory pseudo-tumor. In the present case, a markedly elevated eosinophil count was a characteristic clinical feature, and the patient underwent steroid therapy. Treatment resulted in a reduced eosinophil count, improved neck symptoms, and disappearance of the inflammatory pseudo-tumor.

Delayed hypersensitivity reactions (DHRs) have been reported in association with COVID-19 vaccines, particularly those that are mRNA-based. Classic DHRs result in induration, erythema, tenderness, and urticaria. However, soft tissue mass is an uncommon complication of a COVID-19 vaccination-associated DHR and is rarely reported in the literature.

Inflammatory pseudo tumor (IP) is an infrequent process with benign evolution in most cases whose etiology and pathogenesis are unknown. It usually affects young men and children, in whom the macroscopic lesion can mimic a malignant process, which is ruled out after biopsy. Therefore, the diagnosis of certainty is histological and treatment consists of corticosteroids, leaving resection for cases in which biopsy is not possible or in which it produces local complications.

Objective: Lumbar radiculopathy mainly originates in the spine (lumbar disc herniation or spine osteoarthritis) but can sometimes be explained by extra-spinal nerve compression or confused with referred pain mimicking radiculopathy. Our main objective was to demonstrate the clinical benefit of the large-field coronal STIR (coroSTIR) sequence in the etiological assessment of lumbar radiculopathy with a duration of more than six weeks.
Materials And Methods: Six hundred consecutive lumbar MRI scans performed using the same protocol were retrospectively reviewed.

IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) can cause heterogeneous lesion in various organs. Serum IgG4 levels are useful in monitoring patients with IgG4-RD; however, when it is negative, more careful observation is required. A 58-year-old woman who had been diagnosed with serum IgG4-negative type 1 autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) 3 years prior visited our hospital for the evaluation of a liver tumor.
