"Misdiagnosed Lisfranc injuries can be as high as 50%, leading to chronic pain, functional impairment, and posttraumatic arthritis. Subtle or incomplete lesions are the most problematic group for an adequate diagnosis. Conventional non-weight-bearing radiographs can overlook up to 30% of unstable cases. Abduction stress radiographs and anteroposterior monopodial comparative weight-bearing radiographic views are very useful to identify instability. Computed tomography gives detailed information about fracture patterns and comminution. MRI can predict instability but it is expensive and not readily available in the acute setting."

However, the inhomogeneous distribution of the fillers usually deteriorates the microdomain consistency of the electrolytes, resulting in uneven Li flux, and unstable electrode-electrolyte interfaces. The N-end rule pathway is a protein degradation pathway mediated by the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which specifically targets and degrades target proteins by recognizing specific residues at the N-terminus of the proteins. The residues which play a crucial role in the N-end rule pathway are called degrons, also known as N-degrons, as they are usually unstable at the N-terminal end of the protein. Currently, several N-end rule pathways have been identified in the eukaryotes, including the Arg/N-end rule, Ac/N-end rule, and Pro/N-end rule pathways, as well as the recently discovered Gly/N-end rule pathway.

Introduction: The optimal management strategy for unstable distal clavicular fractures remains controversial. Recent studies on plate techniques have reported good-to-excellent outcomes with no serious complications. The questions are that: (1) Does the use of wire augmentation with locking plate in distal part (distal wire augmentation) reduce radiographic loss of reduction (RLOR) and get earlier bony union in distal clavicular fractures? (2) Which fixation methods are associated with a higher incidence of acromioclavicular (AC) joints arthritis or subluxation? We collected and analyzed clinical studies on different plate fixation methods for unstable fractures to identify the best surgical modality.

Background: Unstable diametaphyseal radius fractures (DMRFs) can be prone to complications, and treatment strategies are heterogeneous. Studies are difficult to interpret as definitions of the diametaphyseal junction zone (DMJZ) are impractical for clinical use, imprecise, or prone to error.
Methods: We introduce the forearm fracture index (FFI) to define DMRFs in radiographs and ultrasound.
