Broader Autism Phenotype (BAP) traits may be present in parents of children on the autism spectrum. However, the prevalence and impact of these traits on parental mental health is poorly understood. We explore BAP traits and its relationship to mental health in 228 fathers and 261 mothers from a sample of 266 scholars from the EPINED study (Spain) grouped as follows: non-autism (N = 122), autism traits (N = 93: 38 subthreshold autism and 55 autism symptoms) and autism (N = 51).

Purpose: Fetal nucleated red blood cells (fNRBCs) in the peripheral blood of pregnant women contain comprehensive fetal genetic information, making them an ideal target for non-invasive prenatal diagnosis (NIPD). However, challenges in identifying, enriching, and detecting fNRBCs limit their diagnostic potential.
Methods: To overcome these obstacles, we developed a novel biomimetic chip, replicating the micro-nano structure of red rose petals on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS).

Objective: This study aimed to develop and validate the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) awareness scale and examine whether having a DOHaD education module may affect dietary behavior in college students.
Background: Some studies conducted within the scope of the DOHaD hypothesis show associations between early-life environmental factors, especially maternal health and nutritional status, with the next generation's health and disease status. Despite the increase in elucidating of the underpinning mechanisms of early life determinants and chronic disease risk, there is limited knowledge on how public perceive and understand DOHaD concepts.

Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is rare during pregnancy and current data on the impact of AF during delivery is scarce. In this study, we aim to analyze the impact of AF in patients who underwent delivery via cesarean section (CS), natural spontaneous delivery (NSD), or instrumental delivery (ID).
Methods: This study analyzed discharge data from the National Inpatient Sample (NIS) from 2016 to 2020.
