In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of short-tailed field vole, was determined through sequencing of PCR fragments. The complete mitochondrial genome of was 16,538 bp in length and encoded 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes, and two ribosomal RNA genes. The overall nucleotide composition is: 15.7% A, 27.5% T, 25.5% C, and 31.4% G, with a total G + C content of 56.9%. By phylogenetic analysis using Bayesian method, showed the closest relationship with the southern vole ().

Background: The persistently high mortality and morbidity rates of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remain a global concern. Notably, the disruptions in mitochondrial cholesterol metabolism (MCM) play a pivotal role in the progression and development of HCC, underscoring the significance of this metabolic pathway in the disease's etiology. The purpose of this research was to investigate genes associated with MCM and develop a model for predicting the prognostic features of patients with HCC.

Background: Many cancer cells exhibit aberrant metabolic reprogramming through abnormal mitochondrial respiration. Protein tyrosine phosphatase mitochondrial 1 (PTPMT1) is a protein tyrosine phosphatase localized to the mitochondria and linked to mitochondrial respiration. However, the expression and role of PTPMT1 in regulating the biological characteristics of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) has not yet been explored.

Nesolagus netscheri, a Sumatran striped rabbit, is one of the rarest rabbits in the Leporidae family, and its genetic information is still limited. This study provides the first mitochondrial genome and molecular systematic characterization of the Sumatran striped rabbit, Nesolagus netscheri, Indonesia's rarest rabbit. It consists of a circular double-stranded DNA of 16,709 bp.

Constipation is correlated with diminished cognitive function, revealing a possible rectum-brain connection. In this counter-balanced crossover trial, 13 elite triathletes underwent a Stroop test to assess cognitive function and executive control. The Stroop test was conducted both with and without magnesium oxide intake, with a 1-week washout period between sessions.

The genomic-level characteristics play a pivotal role as genetic assets for the identification of species and phylogenetic analysis. Here, we sequenced and analyzed the mitochondrial genome of (Ratzeburg), which was first morphologically described in "Die Ichneumonen der Forstinsecten in forstlicher und entomologischer Beziehung." The motivation for this research arises from the necessity to comprehend the genetic composition and evolutionary history of , a genus of parasitic wasps with potential agricultural significance, which.
