The objective of this investigation was to evaluate two methods for measuring the maximum sublimation rate that a freeze-dryer will support-the minimum controllable pressure method and the choke point method. Both methods gave equivalent results, but the minimum controllable pressure method is preferred, since it is easier, faster, and less subjective. The ratio of chamber pressure to condenser pressure corresponding to the onset of choked flow was considerably higher in this investigation (up to about 20:1) than in previously published reports. This ratio was not affected by the location of the pressure gauge on the condenser; that is, on the foreline of the vacuum pump versus on the body of the condenser itself. The total water loss due to sublimation as measured by tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy was consistently within 5% of gravimetrically determined weight loss, regardless of whether the measurement took place during choked versus non-choked process conditions.

This paper presents a deep learning model based on an active learning strategy. The model achieves accurate identification of vegetation types in the study area by utilizing multispectral data obtained from preprocessing of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing equipment. This approach offers advantages such as high data accuracy, mobility, and easy data collection.

The present study aimed to isolate and characterize the causative fungus from fingerlings of Pangasianodon hypophthalmus cultured intensively in freshwater cages in Indian reservoirs and to determine minimum inhibitory concentrations of different antifungal compounds against the fungal hyphae and zoospores. The fungal isolates grown on potato dextrose agar showed an abundance of gemmae, elongated mycelia, non-septate hyphae, primary zoospores, mature zoosporangia with numerous zoospores, cysts with bundles of long hairs and were further identified as Saprolegnia parasitica following PCR amplification and sequencing of internal transcribed spacer region.

The main objective of this paper is to analyze, through a unique large-scale modeling facility, the RDS wash-off under various scenarios of intense rainfall and high RDS masses. A 1:1 scale physical modeling facility was used to allow precise measurement of the RDS wash-off phenomenon under two different rainfall intensities (30/50 mm/h) and three initial RDS masses (100/150/200 g/m). The accumulated and discharged masses of RDS in the different components of the modeling facility (roadway/RW, gully pot/GP and manhole/MH) were collected at the end of the wash-off simulations.

Objective: The objective is to estimate the effect of provincial minimum wage increases in Canada on heavy drinking, binge drinking and average daily alcohol consumption.
Method: We estimate standard regression models by gender-age group with drinking behaviours as the dependent variables and the minimum wage among the independent variables. We employ the Canadian National Population Health Survey which began in 1994 and ended in 2011, a period comparable to that used by many U.

Unlabelled: The article is devoted to the problem of the rehabilitation stage of cochlear implantation in patients with inner ear abnormalities. It provides a detailed analysis of the audiological characteristics of such patients and draws conclusions about approaches to interpreting diagnostic data and speech processors fitting.
Material And Methods: The track records of 80 patients with abnormalities of the inner ear development were retrospectively studied, of which 10 had abnormal structure of the auditory nerve.
