is a well-known medicinal plant in China. In this study, we sequenced the complete chloroplast (cp) genome sequence of to investigate its phylogenetic relationship in the family Araceae. The cp genome was 167,607 bp in length, consisting of a pair of inverted repeats (IRa and IRb: 26,193 bp) separated by a large single-copy region (LSC: 93,660 bp) and a small single-copy region (SSC: 21,561 bp). The GC content of whole cp genome is 35.3%. assembly and annotation showed the presence of 114 unique genes with 80 protein-coding genes, 30 tRNA genes, and four rRNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that ens was closely related to , and the genus was sister to the genus .

Introduction: Mitochondria are essential organelles that provide energy for plants. They are semi-autonomous, maternally inherited, and closely linked to cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) in plants. , a widely used medicinal plant from the Caprifoliaceae family, is rich in chlorogenic acid (CGA) and its analogues, which are known for their antiviral and anticancer properties.

, a marine benthic diatom, holds promise for human nutrition and health as well as for aquaculture applications. However, the scarcity of organelle genome data within the Navicula clade has impeded a comprehensive understanding and utilization of this group. Our research presents a pioneering exploration into the complete mitochondrial and chloroplast genome sequences of CACC 0356, shedding light on its phylogeny and evolutionary history.

is a genus of functional herbaceous plants in the Balsaminaceae, which are not only of great ornamental value and one of the world's top three flower bedding plants but also have a wide range of medicinal and edible uses. Currently, the taxonomy and phylogenetic relationships of species are still controversial. In order to better understand their chloroplast properties and phylogenetic evolution, nine plants (, , , , , , , , ) were sequenced, and their complete chloroplast genomes were analysed.

Phylogenomic analyses have shown that reticulate evolution greatly affects the accuracy of phylogenetic inferences, and thus may challenge the authority of bifurcating phylogenetic trees. In this study, we re-evaluated the phylogenetic backbone of the genus Corylus based on complete taxon sampling and genomic data. We assembled 581 single-copy nuclear genes and whole plastomes from 64 genome resequencing datasets to elucidate the reticulate relationships within Corylus.
