Objective: The aim: This study aims to develop and implement a complex of pregravid preparation based on endogenous melatonin level, development of oxidative stress and violation of apoptosis regulation in women with tubal-peritoneal infertility.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: We have examined 100 women of reproductive age, including 65 women with tubal-peritoneal infertility treated by ART. All studied women were defined levels of endogenous melatonin, oxidative status and level of apoptosis in the endometrium and in follicular fluid (infertile women only). As a powerful free radical neutralizer, we used melatonin to improve the microenvironment of maturing oocytes and create favourable conditions for implantation in the endometrium.

Results: Results: Treatment by exogenous melatonin showed better results than standard therapy without antioxidants: the quality of oocytes and embryos, the level of ongoing pregnancies and childbirth was significantly higher.

Conclusion: Conclusions: We achieved such results due to restoring the balance in pro / antioxidant system and apoptosis in female reproductive tract.

Article Synopsis
  • Diagnosing female genital tuberculosis (FGTB) is challenging with conventional methods, and the new CBNAAT test offers a faster, more reliable PCR-based alternative that can be used on various tissue types, excluding blood.
  • In a study involving 91 suspected cases of FGTB, both endometrial and tubal/peritoneal tissues were analyzed using CBNAAT and histopathology, revealing that the primary complaint among subjects was infertility.
  • The results showed a significant correlation between CBNAAT and histopathological findings, with CBNAAT achieving 100% sensitivity and specificity, indicating its effectiveness for early detection of FGTB in infertile patients.

Laboratory of Clinical Immunology, National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov of the Ministry of Healthcare of Russian Federation, Oparina str. 4, Moscow, Russian Federation, 117997.

Background: Low endometrial receptivity is one of the major factors affecting successful implantation in assisted reproductive technologies (ART). Infertile patients with thin endometrium have a significantly lower cumulative clinical pregnancy rate than patients with normal endometrium. Molecular pathophysiology of low receptivity of thin endometrium remains understudied.

Objectives: The objective of the study was to determine the level of antibodies (AB) of Ig classes A and G to estradiol (E2), progesterone (P) and benzo [a] pyrene (Bp) in patients with endometriosis of various severity and estimate their threshold values as a risk factor for the development of endometriosis.

Methods: A retrospective case-control study was performed. The study involved 200 women.

Unlabelled: Overweight or obesity is diagnosed in approximately 60-80% of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients. Since obesity exacerbates the hormonal and clinical features of PCOS, and women suffering from PCOS have a high risk of obesity, we suggest that hormonal imbalance resulting in certain body features can be linked to the pathogenesis of PCOS.

Aim: The aim of the study was to define the features of the reproductive hormone metabolism in women with infertility due to PCOS depending on the constitutional body types.
