-rearranged renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a rare subtype of renal tumor that typically affects the pediatric age group. Previous exposure to chemotherapy agents increases the possibility of having this subtype. Morphologically, it displays a broad spectrum of growth patterns, but it can be distinguished by the presence of melanin pigment or psammoma bodies.

MYH9-related disease (MYH9-RD) is characterized by congenital macrothrombocytopenia, progressive kidney failure, and sensorineural hearing loss. We describe a patient with MYH9-RD and a normal platelet count. A 13-year-old boy with a normal platelet count presented with proteinuria and hematuria and underwent a kidney biopsy.

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) is a collection of genetic disorders caused by abnormalities in collagen and typified by hyperflexible joints, hyperextensible skin, and a tendency for easy bruising and tissue injuries. Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), the most common subtype, presents a diagnostic challenge due to the lack of specific genetic markers. This case report describes a 13-year-old girl with hEDS, presenting with hypermobility, thoracolumbar scoliosis, constipation, glucosuria, microscopic hematuria, urticaria, and intermittent episodes of bilateral hand and feet swelling.

In the pediatric population, foreign bodies within the urinary bladder are uncommon, typically resulting from urethral insertion out of curiosity. Other etiologies include sexual assault, iatrogenic factors, or migration from adjacent sites. Symptoms such as urinary retention, dysuria, increased frequency, decreased volume, nocturia, hematuria, painful erections, and pelvic pain are common.
