(Willd. ex Spreng.) K. Schum., an economically important tree in the family Malvaceae, is native to the Amazonian region of South America and it is widely cultivated as a tropical crop. Herein, we report the complete chloroplast genome of . The size of the complete chloroplast genome of is 160,606 bp with 36.88% GC content, which includes a pair of inverted repeat regions (IRs) of 25,496 bp separated by a large single-copy region (LSC) of 89,429 bp and a small single copy (SSC) region of 20,185 bp. A total of 126 genes were annotated, of which 82 were protein-coding genes, 36 were transfer RNA (tRNA) genes, and 8 were ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes. A maximum-likelihood (ML) analysis supported a close relationship between and This study will provide useful information for further phylogenetic and evolutionary analysis of Malvaceae.

Introduction: Mitochondria are essential organelles that provide energy for plants. They are semi-autonomous, maternally inherited, and closely linked to cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) in plants. , a widely used medicinal plant from the Caprifoliaceae family, is rich in chlorogenic acid (CGA) and its analogues, which are known for their antiviral and anticancer properties.

, a marine benthic diatom, holds promise for human nutrition and health as well as for aquaculture applications. However, the scarcity of organelle genome data within the Navicula clade has impeded a comprehensive understanding and utilization of this group. Our research presents a pioneering exploration into the complete mitochondrial and chloroplast genome sequences of CACC 0356, shedding light on its phylogeny and evolutionary history.

is a genus of functional herbaceous plants in the Balsaminaceae, which are not only of great ornamental value and one of the world's top three flower bedding plants but also have a wide range of medicinal and edible uses. Currently, the taxonomy and phylogenetic relationships of species are still controversial. In order to better understand their chloroplast properties and phylogenetic evolution, nine plants (, , , , , , , , ) were sequenced, and their complete chloroplast genomes were analysed.
