The data presented in this article is related to the research article entitled "Spectroscopic characterisation of Grubbs 2 generation catalyst and its -cresol derivatives" (Swart 2021). The 1D and 2D NMR characterisation data of the cresol derivative of the Grubbs 2 generation catalyst, where one of the chloride ligands is replaced by the -cresolate to form a Ru-O coordination compound () is reported. The characterization data include information obtained from H, C, Heteronuclear Single Quantum Coherence (HSQC), Heteronuclear Multiple Bond Correlation (HMBC), Homonuclear Correlation Spectroscopy (COSY), Nuclear Overhauser Effect (NOE) and Distortionless Enhancement by Polarization Transfer (DEPT) NMR spectroscopy.

Fischer carbenes have recently found great utility in the construction of degradable metathesis materials, but investigations have been limited to oxygen-containing enol ether monomers. Here, the ring-opening metathesis polymerization of 1,2-dihydroazetes is reported. The polymerization proceeds regioselectively, and the resulting molecular weights are targetable by adjusting the Grubbs initiator loading.

The Hippo pathway is commonly altered in cancer initiation and progression; however, exactly how this pathway becomes dysregulated to promote human cancer development remains unclear. Here we analyze the Hippo somatic mutations in the human cancer genome and functionally annotate their roles in targeting the Hippo pathway. We identify a total of 85 loss-of-function (LOF) missense mutations for Hippo pathway genes and elucidate their underlying mechanisms.

Aqueous room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials have garnered considerable attention for their significant potential across various applications such as bioimaging, sensing, and encryption. However, establishing a universally applicable method for achieving aqueous RTP remains a substantial challenge. Herein, we present a versatile supramolecular strategy to transition RTP from solid states to aqueous phases.

Sexual desire is a complex construct with important implications for sexual functioning and well-being. In this research, we translated the Sexual Desire Inventory (SDI-2), a widely used scale for assessing sexual (desire), into 25 languages from English and used data from the International Sex Survey (ISS) to (a) investigate its psychometric properties (i.e.

Ruthenium based Grubbs metathesis has become a commonplace reaction for synthetic chemists. Development of new generations of catalysts evolving from Grubbs I (GI) have led to greater stability, functional group compatibility, and superior reactivities. However, these advancements lead to increased costs.
