Perennial grasses' reproductive phenology profoundly impacts plant morphogenesis, biomass production, and perenniality in natural ecosystems and cultivated grasslands. Complex interactions between vegetative and reproductive development complicate grass phenology prediction for various environments and genotypes. This work aims to analyse genetic × environment interactions effects on tiller growth and reproductive development in Three perennial ryegrass cultivars, Bronsyn, Carvalis, and Tryskal, were grown from seedling to heading under four inductive conditions.

Unlabelled: Osteoporosis is a condition where bones weaken due to a loss in density and quality, making them fragile and more susceptible to fractures, even from minor stress or injury. In this experimental study, we scrutinized the antiosteoporosis effect of phyllanthin against glycocorticoid (GIOP) induced osteoporosis in rats.

Methods: : SD rats were used in this study and subcutaneous administration of DEX (3 mg/kg) was used for the induction of osteoporosis and rats were treated with phyllanthin and alendronate for 12 weeks.

Background: Prospective data comparing watch-and-wait (WW) to mandatory total mesorectal excision (TME) in patients with locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC) remains limited, as randomized control trials assessing these two treatment approaches are considered impractical. This pooled analysis of the CAO/ARO/AIO-12 and OPRA trials analyzes survival outcomes among LARC patients managed with either a selective WW or mandatory TME strategy following total neoadjuvant therapy (TNT).

Patients And Methods: The CAO/ARO/AIO-12 and OPRA trials were multicenter, phase II trials that randomized patients with stage II/III rectal cancer to receive either induction or consolidation chemotherapy as part of TNT.

Background: The approach to induction of labour differs internationally, with timing of amniotomy being controversial. Some institutions favour performing artificial rupture of membranes prior to commencement of oxytocin infusion, with the belief that the labour will progress more efficiently. In other institutions, the approach recommended is for oxytocin infusion with intact amniotic membranes until the person has reached the active phase of labour, citing risk of infection with early amniotomy.

Evaluating pulmonary stenosis and regurgitation impact on cardiac strain and strain rate in a porcine model via magnetic resonance feature tracking.

Background: Pulmonary stenosis (PS) is common in congenital heart disease and an integral finding in Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). Pulmonary regurgitation (PR) is more commonly found following surgery in repaired TOF. We aimed to evaluate the haemodynamic effects of PS and PR on cardiac physiology in a porcine model using cardiac magnetic resonance-based feature tracking (CMR-FT) deformation imaging.
