Microbial contamination is an important factor threatening the safety of Chinese medicine preparations, and microfluidic detection methods have demonstrated excellent advantages in the application of rapid bacterial detection. In our study, a novel optical biosensor was developed for the rapid and sensitive detection of in traditional Chinese medicine on a microfluidic chip. Immune gold@platinum nanocatalysts (Au@PtNCs) were utilized for specific bacterial labeling, while magnetic nano-beads (MNBs) with a novel high-gradient magnetic field were employed for the specific capture of bacteria.

Family farmers face various business risks, including natural disasters, policies, technology adoption, and market uncertainties. This paper develops a conceptual framework for the formation mechanism of family farmers' business adaptation behaviors by linking "risk perception, key beliefs, and adaptation behavior". Using microdata from 363 family farmers in Sichuan Province, China, and applying ordered logit model regression analysis, we find that both risk perception and key beliefs positively influence family farmers' business adaptation behavior.

Background: Understanding how enteric neural crest cells (ENCCs) differentiate into neurons is crucial for neurogenesis therapy and gastrointestinal disease research. This study explores how magnesium ions regulate the glycolytic pathway to enhance ENCCs differentiation into neurons.
Materials And Methods: We used polymerase chain reaction, western blot, immunofluorescence, and multielectrode array techniques to assess magnesium ions' impact on ENCCs differentiation.

Members of the families Thermosynechococcaceae and Thermostichaceae are well-known unicellular thermophilic cyanobacteria and a non-thermophilic genus was newly classified into the former. Analysis of the codon usage bias (CUB) of cyanobacterial species inhabiting different thermal and non-thermal niches will benefit the understanding of their genetic and evolutionary characteristics. Herein, the CUB and codon context patterns of protein-coding genes were systematically analyzed and compared between members of the two families.

Simultaneous inhibition of the bromodomain and extra-terminal domain and Aurora kinases is a promising anticancer therapeutic strategy. Based on our previous study on BET-kinase dual inhibitors, we employed the molecular docking approach to design novel dual BET-Aurora kinase A inhibitors. Through several rounds of optimization and with the guidance of the solved cocrystal structure of BRD4 bound to inhibitor , we finally obtained a series of highly potent dual BET-Aurora kinase A inhibitors.
