Background: The number of female lung adenocarcinoma patients is increasing annually, but these patients are difficult to diagnose in the early stage without obvious clinical symptoms, leading to late-stage diagnoses and poor outcomes. Recent studies have shown that the lung microbiota is closely related to the occurrence and development of lung cancer, especially the characteristic changes in the lung microbiota of lung cancer patients, which opens a new research direction for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of the lung flora in different stages of female lung adenocarcinoma.

Aims: This study investigated the utility of combined p16 and p53 immunohistochemistry (IHC) for diagnosing high-risk human papillomavirus (HR HPV)-associated oral epithelial dysplasia (OED) and its associated clinical behaviour, including disease recurrence and transformation to malignancy.

Methods And Results: The expression of p53 was evaluated in 105 cases of HR HPV-positive oral cavity OED, of which 104 were scored as positive for p16. HPV status was confirmed by reverse transcriptase quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) for E6 mRNA or RNA in situ hybridization (ISH).

Objective: This study was aimed at investigating the roles of podoplanin (PDPN) as a marker associated with malignant development, progression, and poor prognosis in oral leukoplakia and various forms of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), particularly in relation to the extent of invasion.

Methods: Immunohistochemical analysis of PDPN was conducted on 77 histologically confirmed, formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples representing various degrees of OSCC invasion and dysplasia grades.

Results: The samples were analyzed with Fisher's exact test and the Kruskal-Wallis test.
