Neuroinflammation is a complex and multifaceted process that involves dynamic interactions among various cellular and molecular components. This sophisticated interplay supports both environmental adaptability and system resilience in the central nervous system (CNS) but may be disrupted during neuroinflammation. In this article, we first characterize the key players in neuroimmune interactions, including microglia, astrocytes, neurons, immune cells, and essential signaling molecules such as cytokines, neurotransmitters, extracellular matrix (ECM) components, and neurotrophic factors.

Purpose: (Tumor-educated platelets) TEPs have emerged as active players in all steps of tumorigenesis, confrontation of platelets with tumor cells via transfer of tumor-associated biomolecules and results in the sequestration of such biomolecules. The current study was aimed to examine whether TEPs lncRNA-STARD4-AS1 and ELOA-AS1 might be potential biomarkers for NSCLC.

Materials And Methods: TEPs were obtained by low-speed centrifugation.

Background: Hepatic fibrosis is a wound healing response that leads to excessive deposition of extracellular matrix (ECM) due to sustained liver injury. Hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) are key players in ECM synthesis, with the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway being central to their activation. Despite advances in understanding the pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis, effective anti-fibrotic therapies are still lacking.
