Excellent cyclic stability and fast charge/discharge capacity demonstrated by supercapacitors foster research interest into new electrode materials with 100% cycle life and high specific capacitance. We report an improvement in the electrochemical performance of MoS/multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) nanohybrid and intensively explored its performance in symmetric and asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) assembly. The symmetric assembly of MoS/MWCNT exhibits capacitance of around 274.63 F g at 2 A g with higher specific energy/power outputs (20.70 Wh kg/1.49 kW kg) as compared to the supercapacitor based on pristine MoS (5.82 Wh kg/1.07 kW kg). On the other hand, a unique all-carbon-based ASC assembled with MoS/MWCNT and VSe/MWCNT composite with KSO as electrolyte delivers the highest energy density of 32.18 Wh kg at a power density of 1.121 kW kg with exceptional cycling stability and excellent retention of about 98.43% even after 5000 cycles. These outstanding results demonstrate the excellent electrochemical properties of both symmetric and asymmetric systems with high energy density and performance, which further enable them to be a potential candidate for supercapacitor applications.

This study investigates the link between life course social mobility and cognitive function among middle-aged and older adults in India, specifically emphasizing whether upward and downward mobility exerts symmetric associations and potential gender heterogeneity within these associations. Leveraging data from the Longitudinal Aging Study in India 2017-2018, encompassing 64,710 individuals aged 45 years or above, we classified social mobility as 'consistently high,' 'upward mobility,' 'downward mobility,' and 'consistently low,' based on socioeconomic position during childhood and late adulthood. Multivariable regression and gender-interaction analyses were employed to assess associations.

The synthesis of differently substituted polyferrocenylmethylenes (PFM) via ring-opening transmetalation polymerization (ROTP) is reported. A number of novel, symmetrically and asymmetrically substituted carba[1]magnesocenophanes have been prepared, which were used as precursors and allowed investigations of the influence of different substitution patterns on the PFM polymer properties. The novel carba[1]magnesocenophanes have been fully characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and structurally authenticated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD).

This study investigates the mechanism of prototropic tautomerization in metal-bound asymmetric pyrazole (R-PzH) ligands during Cu(II)-mediated PzH-MeCN coupling reactions. Intrinsic prototropic tautomerization of metal-bound ligands has not been previously documented. Various new bis-pyrazolylamidino Cu(II) complexes, [Cu(R-Pz(HNC(Me)))(ClO)], from the coupling reaction, and tetrakis pyrazole Cu(II) complexes, [Cu(R-PzH)(ClO)], with symmetric and asymmetric -monosubstituted R-PzH ligands were synthesized and characterized.
