With the rapid development of information society, rumor plays an increasingly crucial part in social communication, and its spreading has a significant impact on human life. In this paper, a stochastic rumor-spreading model with Holling II functional response function considering the existence of time delay and the disturbance of white noise is proposed. Firstly, the existence of a unique global positive solution of the model is studied. Then the asymptotic behavior of the global solution around the rumor-free and rumor-local equilibrium nodes of the deterministic system is discussed. Finally, through some numerical results, the validity and availability of theoretical analysis is verified powerfully, and it shows that some factors such as the transmission rate, the intensity of white noise, and the time delay have significant relationship with the dynamical behavior of rumor spreading.

The anticancer agent irinotecan often induces severe delayed-onset diarrhea, inhibiting human carboxylesterase 2A (hCES2A) can significantly alleviate irinotecan-triggered gut toxicity (ITGT). This work presents an efficient workflow for design and developing novel efficacious hCES2A inhibitors. A well-training machine learning model identified as a lead compound, while compound was developed as a novel time-dependent hCES2A inhibitor (IC = 0.

Introduction: Insurance type can result in disparities in access to specialist orthopaedic care. Here, we sought to quantify how insurance type affects time to surgery in patients with a distal radius fracture that needs surgical treatment.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study of patients ≥18 years with surgically managed, closed distal radius fractures was conducted.

Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) is the gold standard for assessing cerebrovascular hemodynamics. DSA is predominantly utilized to evaluate the hemodynamic information of various cerebral diseases. However, DSA is relatively invasive and involves radiation exposure and risks of allergic reactions or renal dysfunction related to iodine-based contrast agents.

Background: There is an international epidemic of chronic kidney disease of unknown cause (CKDu) in agricultural working populations. Particulate air pollution is a likely contributing factor in populations at risk for CKDu, but there is little personal breathing zone data for these workers.
Methods: We collected 1 to 3 personal breathing zone particulate matter <5 microns (PM5) gravimetric measurements in 143 male sugarcane harvesters over 2 seasons and concurrent ambient samples using personal sampling pumps and cyclone inlets as a sampling train.

The penile tubular urethra forms by canalization of the urethral plate without forming an obvious urethral groove in mice, while the urethral epithelium forms a fully open urethral groove before urethra closure through the distal-opening-proximal-closing process in humans and guinea pigs. Our knowledge of the mechanism of penile development is mainly based on studies in mice. To reveal how the fully opened urethral groove forms in humans and guinea pigs, we compared the expression patterns and levels of key developmental genes using in situ hybridization and quantitative PCR during glans and preputial development between guinea pigs and mice.
