Of three Q fever vaccine candidates available at present, i.e., phase I corpuscular untreated, soluble, and phase I corpuscular chloroform-methanol treated vaccines, the first two were tested on hundreds of subjects exposed to Q fever. Based on their sufficient immunogenicity (which depends also on the tests employed) and low reactogenicity (providing that subjects with previous contact with Coxiella (C.) burnetii are excluded from vaccination) these two vaccines can be recommended for vaccination of humans at risk. Further studies are required, however, to answer definitively which vaccine type is the most suitable, and facing the problem of C. burnetii strain heterogeneity, to decide whether a monovalent vaccine will be sufficient or a polyvalent vaccine will be necessary.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the changes in enzymic activity, metabolites, and hematological responses during the first 56-d of arrival of newly received calves, which were qualified at reception as high-risk but diagnosed as clinically healthy. A total of 320 blood samples were taken from 64 crossbred bull calves (average initial body weight = 148.3 ± 1.

GORTEC 4 bis rue Emile Zola 37000 Tours, France; Department of Radiotherapy, Centre François-Baclesse, Corpuscular Physics Laboratory, IN2P3, ENSICAEN, CNRS UMR 6534, Université de Normandie, Caen, France. Electronic address:
Purpose: The randomized phase II GORTEC 2014-04 and French Head and Neck Intergroup study showed deeper deterioration of the quality of life (HRQoL) and dramatically higher severe toxicity rates with similar overall survival rates using chemo-SABR compared to SABR alone in oligometastatic head and neck cancer (HNSCC) patients. We evaluated the costs associated with SABR-alone versus chemo-SABR and their associated costs (transportation, hospitalizations, etc).
Materials And Methods: 69 HNSCC patients with 1-3 oligometastases and a controlled primary were randomized from September 2015 to October 2022.

We propose multiloop vacuum amplitudes in the loop-tree duality (LTD) as the optimal building blocks for efficiently assembling theoretical predictions at high-energy colliders. This hypothesis is strongly supported by the manifestly causal properties of the LTD representation of a vacuum amplitude. The vacuum amplitude in LTD, acting as a kernel, encodes all the final states contributing to a given scattering or decay process through residues in the on-shell energies of the internal propagators.
