is described from Peninsular Malaysia, based on a single female collected in 1962. The other two known species of this genus are also known from single specimens, from Southeastern China and Nepal. A key to the species is given, and the taxonomy and distribution of the genus are discussed.

Seed shattering (SS) functions are a survival mechanism in plants, enabling them to withstand adverse environmental conditions and ensure reproduction. However, this trait limits seed yield. , a perennial forage grass with many favorable traits, is constrained by SS, limiting its broader application.

Traditional methods for studying microbial communities have been limited due to difficulties in culturing and sequencing all microbial species. Recent advances in third-generation sequencing technologies, particularly PacBio's high-fidelity (HiFi) sequencing, have significantly advanced metagenomics by providing accurate long-read sequences. This review explores the role of HiFi sequencing in overcoming the limitations of previous sequencing methods, including high error rates and fragmented assemblies.

Yellow rose () is a common ornamental shrub species widely cultivated in China. However, canker disease symptoms were discovered during our investigations in Beijing and Xinjiang, China. The fungal isolates were obtained from diseased barks and identified using combined methods of morphology and phylogeny based on a partial region of ITS, LSU, , , and sequences.

Campopleginae, the third largest subfamily of Ichneumonidae, has been one of the most investigated ichneumonids from the perspective of biological control. Despite their importance as potential biological control agents, species of campoplegine are among the most poorly studied insect groups. In this study, one new species of the genus Townes, 1965, sp.

Cholangiocarcinoma is a malignant tumor that emerges in the intrahepatic or extrahepatic bile ducts. Doramectin (DOR), a third-generation derivative of avermectins (AVMs), is renowned for its low toxicity and high efficiency. However, no research has hitherto focused on the anti-cholangiocarcinoma effects of these drugs.
