Introduction And Objective: Water in installations in hospitals and social welfare homes (SWHs) should meet the requirements of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the quality of water intended for human consumption and national regulations issued on its basis. At present, 60 species of bacteria of the genus Legionella sp. are known (of which 30 are considered as pathogenic for humans), and more than 80 serologic groups.

Background: Little attention has been paid to the experiences of clinicians and health personnel who provide heroin-assisted treatment (HAT). This study provides the first empirical findings about the clinicians' experiences of providing HAT in the Norwegian context.
Methods: 23 qualitative interviews were conducted with 31 clinicians shortly after HAT clinics opened in Norway's two largest cities: Oslo and Bergen.

This research brings new evidence on the central support of the Rapid Response Service (RRS), provided to those who chose to die at home.
