Background: This study explores Alzheimer's prediction through brain MRI images, utilizing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Lime interpretability. Based on an extensive ADNI MRI dataset, we demonstrate promising results in predicting Alzheimer's disease. Local Interpretable Model Agnostic Explanations (LIME) shed light on decision-making processes, enhancing transparency.

Background: In recent years, brain banks have become a valuable resource for examining the molecular underpinnings of various neurological and psychological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease; however, the availability of brain tissue has significantly declined. Proper collection, preparation, and preservation of post-mortem autopsy tissue are essential for optimal downstream brain tissue distribution and experimentation. Collaborations between brain banks through larger networks such as NeuroBioBank with centralized sample request mechanisms promote tissue distribution where brain donations are disproportionately lower.

Background: Sleep patterns and disruptions may associate with increased dementia risk and contribute to its progression and cognitive decline. Understanding the complexity of the sleep-dementia relationship is crucial for developing interventions that may delay cognitive decline and enhance the well-being of individuals with dementia. This study seeks to explore how the sleeping patterns of patients with dementia impact them and aims to provide insights to help improve the sleep patterns of individuals affected by dementia.

Background: The evaluation of mHealth interventions often lacks detailed process evaluation data. This study presents the design and results of a process evaluation for the Wellness Enhancement for Caregivers (WECARE) program, an mHealth intervention designed to improve caregiving skills and psychosocial wellbeing of Chinese American dementia caregivers. This evaluation focused on understanding the acceptance, engagement, and the barriers and facilitators influencing behavioral changes among participants, offering valuable feedback for program refinement and dissemination.

Background: Understanding social, behavioral, and environmental determinants of health (SBEDOH) are key in identifying modifiable risk factors for Alzheimer's Disease and related Dementias (ADRD), particularly the disproportionate burden seen in minorities. However, a lack of standardized SBEDOH methods exists with current methods limited in scope and cultural sensitivity (i.e.
