Youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are at nearly twice the risk of experiencing obesity, compared to youth without ASD. Wellness Education to Create Healthy habits and Actions to Thrive (WE CHAT) is a novel chatbot that engages participants to enhance primary care delivery and associated care coordination services through mobile health (mHealth) technology focused on social determinants of health (SDOH) and social-emotional health. This study examines multiple perspectives regarding the development and implementation of innovative mHealth technology among youth with ASD.

Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to address growing logistical and economic pressures on the health care system by reducing risk, increasing productivity, and improving patient safety; however, implementing digital health technologies can be disruptive. Workforce perception is a powerful indicator of technology use and acceptance, however, there is little research available on the perceptions of allied health professionals (AHPs) toward AI in health care.
Objective: This study aimed to explore AHP perceptions of AI and the opportunities and challenges for its use in health care delivery.

Background: Cognitive complaints (CC) refer to a reported experience of cognitive decline and are recognized as a potential precursor to future functional decline and progression to dementia. Identifying individuals with CC may be a valuable opportunity for preventive measures, early detection, and intervention strategies to address dementia risk. However, the characteristics of CC and its associated risk of progression to dementia are highly heterogeneous, influenced significantly by CC identification methods, recruitment approaches, and attrition in longitudinal cohort studies.
