We used a community-based participatory research (CBPR) approach to develop and conduct a mixed-methods needs assessment with a sample of 36 veterans. We gathered data using the Short-Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36), focus groups, and individual interviews. The sample SF-36 mean scores were significantly higher than the general population average for general health, but lower for role limitations due to emotional problems, vitality, and social functioning.

Objective: People with multiple sclerosis (pwMS) may require a high level of daily assistance both for indoor and outdoor activities. Usually, relatives or friends provide daily support to MS patients who have lost personal autonomy. Several factors such as disability level and disease duration may affect the burden of care in caregivers of pwMS; however, the relationship between disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) and caregiver burden has never been explored so far.

Background: The job profile of security officers in tropical countries involves prolonged standing in hot conditions causing heat stress as well as complications of sedentary lifestyle. The objectives of this study were to estimate the prevalence of noncommunicable diseases and heat stress in security officers and analyze factors affecting heat stress and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).

Materials And Methods: This was an observational cross-sectional study conducted among security personnel working at a tertiary care hospital in South India during the hottest months of March to May 2020.
