Introduction And Importance: Insulinomas are rare pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms with an incidence of one to four cases per million annually and a 5 % to 10 % association with hereditary multiple endocrine neoplasia type-1. While most insulinomas are benign and well-encapsulated, approximately 6 % may have malignant potential. Intraoperative localization remains a vital component of treatment, often facilitated by modern imaging techniques like intraoperative ultrasound and fluorescence modalities.

Proper oxygen delivery through the microvasculature to injury site is essential to ensure the metabolic cascade during wound healing. Adaptation of vascular structure and oxygenation is key to unravel the regulation of blood perfusion, oxygen distribution and new tissue formation. Yet, visualizing micrometabolic responses at large scale in unperturbed living tissue remains challenging.

Intravenous leiomyomatosis (IVL), an abnormal growth pattern of uterine leiomyomas, is a rare tumor characterized by masses of smooth muscle cells appearing histologically benign and proliferating within the blood vessels but not invading the tissue. Currently, there have been limited reports of early cases of IVL, and the imaging characteristics of IVL remain uncertain, resulting in frequent misdiagnosis prior to surgery. The present study utilized a case of early IVL detected through conventional ultrasound and subsequently confirmed contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) to further investigate ultrasound's diagnostic efficacy for early IVL detection.

Background: Posterior cerebral artery (PCA) aneurysms, though rare, pose treatment challenges. Endovascular therapy is the preferred option, but microsurgery becomes necessary in certain cases. Various microsurgical approaches have been suggested for PCA aneurysms, particularly those at the P2-P3 junction.
