Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) is a major concern in terms of animal and human health. Between October 2020 and September 2023, there were 36 HPAI outbreaks detected in poultry and other captive birds in Denmark. However, it is often not possible to determine the exact route of introduction.

Performing hypothesis tests with adequate statistical power is indispensable for psychological research. In response to several large-scale replication projects following the replication crisis, concerns about the root causes of this crisis - such as questionable research practices (QRPs) - have grown. While initial efforts primarily addressed the inflation of the type I error rate of research due to QRPs, recent attention has shifted to the adverse consequences of low statistical power.

Methods: We used data from natality files, 2020-2021 to identify individuals with Medicaid or no insurance who conceived in March-May 2020. The exposure was the number of months exposed to a moratorium (0 (referent, no state-level moratoria), 1-2, 3-4, 5 or more).

Objectives: To provide a narrative review of disordered lymphatic dynamics and its impact on critical care relevant condition management.
Data Sources: Detailed search strategy using PubMed and Ovid Medline for English language articles (2013-2023) describing congenital or acquired lymphatic abnormalities including lymphatic duct absence, injury, leak, or obstruction and their associated clinical conditions that might be managed by a critical care medicine practitioner.
Study Selection: Studies that specifically addressed abnormalities of lymphatic flow and their management were selected.
