Introduction: Minimally invasive resection of segment VIII is a technically challenging procedure, made even more challenging when the resection is extended to segment IV and/or segment VII. Parenchymal-sparing resections are frequently used in the management of liver metastases but expose to the risk of R1 resection, especially with a minimally invasive approach. Preoperative surgical planning with 3D reconstruction and intraoperative guidance with hepatic vein is helpful for laparoscopic oncological liver resection.

Purpose: Numerous modifications laparoscopic techniques have mushroomed in recent years. Here we describe a modified technique of extracorporeal ligation of processus vaginalis in children using a hernia crochet needle with a cannula.
Methods: Processus vaginalis repair was carried out on patients diagnosed with inguinal hernia or hydroceles using this novel technique between June 2021 and June 2022.

Aim: The aim was to explore how findings of whole-body MRI including diffusion-weighted imaging (DW-MRI) compared to the routine diagnostic workup with CT and/or F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/CT in patients with suspected recurrent colorectal cancer (CRC).
Method: This was an exploratory retrospective analysis of 55 patients with a clinical suspicion of recurrent CRC who underwent DW-MRI following CT and/or FDG-PET/CT. Two readers in consensus interpreted all clinical imaging reports and converted each described lesion into a confidence score (1 = definitely benign to 5 = definitely malignant).

Introduction: The distinction between multiple primary lung cancer (MPLC) and intrapulmonary metastasis (IPM) holds clinical significance in staging, therapeutic intervention, and prognosis assessment for multiple lung cancer. Lineage tracing by clinicopathologic features alone remains a clinical challenge; thus, we aimed to develop a multi-omics analysis method delineating spatiotemporal heterogeneity based on tumor genomic profiling.
Methods: Between 2012 and 2022, 11 specimens were collected from two patients diagnosed with multiple lung cancer (LU1 and LU2) with synchronous/metachronous tumors.
