After primary immunization with adsorbed DPT vaccine antitetanus immunity was retained for 9-10 years in 90.6-98.4% of children covered by this study. The second booster immunization of children against tetanus with adsorbed DT toxoid with reduced antigen content, made at an interval prolonged to 7-10 years under the conditions of lower antitoxic immunity, ensured a high level of intense antitetanus immunity. These data point to the possibility of prolonging the interval between booster immunizations to 9-10 years and reducing the number of injections and antigenic load.

Background: Despite the availability of tetanus-diphtheria (TD) vaccines in Iran, the seroconversion rate of these products as a booster dose is unknown.
Objectives: This study evaluates the seroconversion rate of the Iranian Td vaccine in adults who have not been vaccinated in the past decade.
Methods: In this study, 20 adult volunteers aged 18 to 60 who had not received the Td vaccine in the past decade received a booster dose of the Iranian Td vaccine.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder that progressively damages the autonomic and central nervous systems, leading to hallmark symptoms such as resting tremor, bradykinesia, and rigidity. Despite extensive research, the underlying cause of PD remains unclear, and current treatments are unable to halt the progression of the disease. In this retrospective study, based on historical electronic health records (EHR) from a national health provider covering the period from 2003 to 2023, we investigated the impact of vaccination and medication purchases on PD occurrence and severity.

Background: Limited data exists regarding population immunity against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis in Thailand during the post-COVID-19 pandemic period. This study aimed to evaluate the age-specific seroprevalence of anti-diphtheria toxoid (anti-DT) IgG, anti-tetanus toxoid (anti-TT) IgG, and anti-pertussis toxin (anti-PT) IgG in individuals across diverse age groups in Chonburi province, Thailand following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: Between October 2022 and January 2023, a total of 657 participants from Chonburi Province, Thailand, were included in this study.

This phase 1 trial assessed the safety and immunogenicity of an investigational tetanus/diphtheria/acellular pertussis vaccine combined with CpG 1018 adjuvant 1500 μg (Tdap-1018 1500 μg) or 3000 μg (Tdap-1018 3000 μg) in adults and adolescents. In this randomized, active-controlled, multicenter, dose-escalation trial, healthy participants aged 10 to 22 years received 1 dose of Tdap-1018 1500 μg, Tdap-1018 3000 μg, or Boostrix. Geometric mean concentrations (GMCs) and booster response rates (BRRs) for antibodies against pertussis (pertussis toxin, filamentous hemagglutinin, pertactin), tetanus, and diphtheria antigens, and neutralizing antibodies against pertussis toxin were assessed 4 weeks after vaccination.
