Research has shown that involving patients in decisions on treatment may have positive effects for patients. However, there are different understandings of what involving patients implies and different attitudes among physicians toward sharing decisions with patients. This study aimed to explore the attitude of patients with advanced prostate cancer to involvement in treatment decisions and physicians' and nurses' approach to patient involvement. Moreover, it aimed to explore whether the decision-making changes as the treatment course progresses. Data were collected through participant observations and interviews. It was found that treatment decisions are primarily considered as part of physicians' role. Physicians' attitudes to patient involvement in treatment decisions depended on the type of treatment. Among patients and health professionals, there was a lack of confidence in the ability of patients to participate in the decisions. Health professionals and patients have different attitudes toward patient involvement and different views on what it entails.

Importance: Cutaneous chronic graft-vs-host disease (GVHD) is independently associated with morbidity and mortality after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant. However, the health-related quality-of-life (HRQOL) domains that are most important to patients are poorly understood.
Objective: To perform a concept elicitation study to define HRQOL in cutaneous chronic GVHD from the patient perspective and to compare experiences of patients with epidermal vs sclerotic disease.

In response to the paucity of training in therapeutic relationships and relational care for mental health clinicians, a new three-day training programme has been developed called Compassionate and Relational Enquiry (CARE). A condensed version of this training was recently delivered to mental health service users, carers and the public during a one-day online taster session- named Dialogical And Relational Taster Training (DARTT) - to understand their perception of this training programme. 21 people took part in this taster training day and subsequently completed a survey about their impression of different elements of the training.

Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a self-limited, idiopathic, non-neoplastic disorder characterized by the proliferation of phagocytic histiocytes, which can mimic malignant lymphoproliferative disease. Cases of RDD most commonly present as bilateral painless cervical lymphadenopathy, with lesser involvement of the axilla, inguinal, and mediastinal lymph nodes. We present the case of a 62-year-old woman with a history of endometrial serous carcinoma who underwent evaluation at a dedicated breast imaging department after positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) revealed breast masses and axillary nodes with increased uptake of fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG).

The Lim Kinase (LIMK) family of serine/threonine kinases is comprised of LIMK1 and LIMK2, which are central regulators of cytoskeletal dynamics via their well-characterized roles in promoting actin polymerization and destabilizing the cellular microtubular network. The LIMKs have been demonstrated to modulate several fundamental physiological processes, including cell cycle progression, cell motility and migration, and cell differentiation. These processes play important roles in maintaining cardiovascular health.
