Aims: Trials on integrated care for atrial fibrillation (AF) showed mixed results in different AF populations using various approaches. The multicentre, randomized AF-EduCare trial evaluated the effect of targeted patient education on unplanned cardiovascular outcomes.
Methods And Results: Patients willing to participate were randomly assigned to in-person education, online education, or standard care (SC) and followed for minimum 18 months.

Introduction And Objectives: Percutaneous left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) is a viable option to mitigate bleeding and stroke risks in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) who are not eligible for oral anticoagulation. Its safety and efficacy in cancer patients remain unclear due to their exclusion from trials. This study aimed to compare short- and long-term LAAO outcomes between cancer and non-cancer patients.

Background: The Cardiovascular Outcomes for People Using Anticoagulation Strategies (COMPASS) trial enrolled patients with vascular disease, but excluded patients requiring oral anticoagulation.
Objective: To explore the clinical significance of a new diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (AF) during follow-up.
Methods: New AF was identified from hospitalization, study drug discontinuation and adverse event reports.

Primary cardiac tumors are a rare disease, with 20% of the cases being malignant. Among them, angiosarcoma is characterized by a short clinical course and poor prognosis, even after surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. We present a 67-year-old woman diagnosed with a primary malignant tumor (angiosarcoma) infiltrating the right atrial myocardium.

Background: Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a heterogeneous entity including patients with different phenotypes of near normal, normal, and supernormal left ventricular (LV) function.
Objectives: To assess the value of resting LV elastance (also known as force) with transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) to identify HFpEF phenotypes.
Methods: In a prospective, observational, multicenter study, 2380 HFpEF patients were recruited from July 2016 to May 2024.
