Senna is a medicinal herb commonly used as a laxative and dietary aid for weight loss. Repeated consumption of Senna may lead to persistent diarrhea. Furthermore, cases of acute liver failure and hepato-encephalopathic syndrome after chronic Senna ingestion were reported in literature.

Although vasculitis and renal involvement might be associated with malignancy, they are rarely associated with lymphoproliferative diseases. We observed a case of immunoglobulin A vasculitis associated with segmental and focal glomerulonephritis in a patient with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. The most interesting aspect of this case is that this patient's main initial manifestations were skin rash and fever.

Microfilarial parasites can obstruct the lymphatic tree giving rise to varying lymphatic and extra-lymphatic symptoms. Renal manifestations can range from asymptomatic proteinuria, chyluria, and nephrotic syndrome, to acute glomerulonephritis. The diagnosis of filariasis is usually made by the demonstration of the parasite in the peripheral blood smear, with or without eosinophilia.

Objective: To assess changes in the urinary microbiota after buccal urethroplasty.
Methods: At the University of California San Francisco, we enrolled 9 adult males with urethral strictures undergoing buccal urethroplasty where we collected urine and oral swabs intraoperatively and 3 months postoperatively. 16S rRNA sequencing was used to profile the microbiota.
