Background/purpose: In this study, we utilized magnetic resonance imaging data of the temporomandibular joint, collected from the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. Our research focuses on the classification and severity analysis of temporomandibular joint disease using convolutional neural networks.
Materials And Methods: In gray-scale image series, the most critical features often lie within the articular disc cartilage, situated at the junction of the temporal bone and the condyles.

In the context of dentin preservation, this paper provides a thorough scoping review of a variety of methodologies for evaluating the accuracy of guided access cavity preparation.

Introduction: While cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) remains a highly effective psychotherapy approach for managing Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), its potential is hindered by workforce shortages and access barriers. In response to these challenges, Internet-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (iCBT) has emerged as an innovative solution that integrates the core CBT structure with technology. In iCBT, educational materials, therapist communication and progress dashboards can be centralized in a digital format, and delivered in a self-guided, therapist-guided or blended approach.

Introduction: Stigmatizing attitudes held by health care professionals against individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) result in worse clinical outcomes. Story-listening has been shown to help mitigate bias for medical trainees. We created a narrative-based small-group facilitated discussion between medical students and an individual in recovery from SUD through a direct partnership with a community peer-recovery organization.
