Archaeological sites in deltaic regions face increasing environmental threats. This study provides the first assessment of seawater intrusion and land subsidence impacts on archaeological sites in the Nile Delta through hydrochemical investigations, InSAR techniques, and multi-criteria decision analysis of 33 sites. The results reveal that 80.

Bhasan Char has undergone noteworthy transformations in its geographical characteristics since its emergence in 2003. Driven by sediment transported by the Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna river system, the island has gradually transitioned from a stretched-out configuration to a more rounded shape primarily due to continuous accretion, while erosion has been minimal since 2012. Currently, the island is being prepared to accommodate over 1 million Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) refugees.

National Engineering Research Center for Satellite Remote Sensing Applications, Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, 100101, China.

The Qilian Mountain Area (QMA) serves as a crucial ecological barrier and strategic water conservation zone in China. Recent years have seen heightened social attention to environmental issues within the QMA, underscoring the need for accurate and continuous land cover maps to support ecological monitoring, analysis, and forecasting. This paper presents the QMA_LC30 dataset, which includes 9 land cover categories and spans the period from 1990 to 2020, with updates every 5 years.

This study demonstrates a rich complexity of the time-frequency ionospheric signal spectrum, dependent on the measurement type and platform. Different phenomena contributing to satellite-derived and ground-derived geophysical data that only selected signal bands can be potentially sensitive to seismicity over time, and they are applicable in lithosphere-atmosphere-ionosphere coupling (LAIC) studies. In this study, satellite-derived and ground-derived ionospheric observations are filtered by a Fourier-based band-pass filter, and an experimental selection of potentially sensitive frequency bands has been carried out.
