Introduction: Ectopic pancreatic tissue (EPT) is a rare congenital anomaly characterized by the presence of pancreatic tissue in an abnormal location, separate from the pancreas, without any anatomical or vascular connection to it. This anomaly is often an incidental finding during operation or autopsy. This peculiarity poses clinical and radiological challenges for surgeons, particularly during laparoscopic or open procedures.

Unlabelled: New cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), such as leadless pacemakers and subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillators (S-ICDs), are being used in patients with adult congenital heart disease. Introduction: The cost benefit of intercostal nerve cryoablation during surgical lobectomy for postoperative pain management is unknown. The current study compared hospital economics, resource use, and clinical outcomes during the index stay and accompanying short-term follow-up. Patients who underwent lobectomy with standard of care treatment for postsurgical pain management and cryoablation were compared to those with standard of care treatment only.
