Purpose: To combine different independent endometrial markers to classify the presence of endometriosis.
Methods: Endometrial biopsies were obtained from 109 women with endometriosis as well as 110 control women. Nine candidate biomarkers independent of cycle phase were selected from the literature and NanoString was performed. We compared differentially expressed genes between groups and generated generalized linear models to find a classifier for the disease.
Results: Generalized linear models correctly detected 68% of women with endometriosis (combining deep infiltrating and ovarian endometriosis). However, we were not able to distinguish between individual types of endometriosis compared to controls. From the 9 tested genes, FOS, MMP7, and MMP11 seem to be important for disease classification, and FOS was the most over-expressed gene in endometriosis.
Conclusion(s): Although generalized linear models may allow identification of endometriosis, we did not obtain perfect classification with the selected gene candidates.

Objectives: Due to the increasingly faster pace of life and responsibilities, stress has become an integral part of daily life. Every year, numerous social campaigns in the media raise the issue of increasing alcohol consumption. Endometriosis is a chronic, causally incurable, estrogen-dependent and inflammatory gynecological disorder, described as presence of ectopic endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity.

Objective: Several reproductive factors are associated with ovarian cancer risk but the association with survival is less clear. The main aim was to examine the impact of pre-diagnostic reproductive factors on long-term ovarian cancer survival (≥10 years).
Methods: We included all women with epithelial ovarian cancer in Denmark, 1990-2014.

Endometriosis is a chronic disease that affects around 10% of reproductive age women worldwide and a common cause of infertility. One of its manifestations is ovarian endometriomas, which are present in 17-44% of endometriosis patients. Endometriomas can impair fertility by mechanical stretching and local inflammation, promoting oxidative stress in the surrounding ovarian cortex that could lead to apoptosis and necrosis of early follicles.

Ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC) is an endometriosis-related neoplasm, in which traditional histologic grading does not show prognostic significance. Tumor budding was associated with poorer outcomes in OCCC in previous studies. We aimed to evaluate the prognostic significance of tumor budding in OCCC in an independent cohort.

Objective: To investigate the correlation between endometriosis (EMs) severity and placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) risk in the subsequent pregnancy.
Method: Clinical records of 2,142 patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery for EMs at Fujian Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2014 to January 2018, who had achieved pregnancy and were delivered, were analyzed. Baseline data, EMs stage, The Revised American Fertility Society (R-AFS) score, levels of serum indexes, and pregnancy and neonatal outcomes were recorded.
