Shotgun and proximity-ligation metagenomic sequencing were used to generate thousands of metagenome assembled genomes (MAGs) from the untreated wastewater, activated sludge bioreactors, and anaerobic digesters from two full-scale municipal wastewater treatment facilities. Analysis of the antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in the pool of contigs from the shotgun metagenomic sequences revealed significantly different relative abundances and types of ARGs in the untreated wastewaster compared to the activated sludge bioreactors or the anaerobic digesters (p < 0.05).

This article is devoted to the development of a new method for the synthesis of magnetic cobalt boride nanoparticles using a low-energy approach. The obtained nanoparticles were used to create composite materials based on industrial thermoplastic ABS. The effect of different concentrations of nanoparticles on the physical, mechanical, magnetic, and dielectric properties of composite materials was studied.

Using the solid-state reaction technique, varied YSiO phosphors activated by europium (Eu) ions at varied concentrations were made at calcination temperatures of 1000 °C and 1250 °C during sintering in an air environment. The XRD technique identified the monoclinic structure, and the FTIR technique was used to analyze the generated phosphors. Photoluminescence emission and excitation patterns were measured using varying concentrations of Eu ions.

The src-homology 2 domain-containing phosphatase 2 (SHP2) is a human cytoplasmic protein tyrosine phosphatase that plays a crucial role in cellular signal transduction. Aberrant activation and mutations of SHP2 are associated with tumor growth and immune suppression, thus making it a potential target for cancer therapy. Initially, researchers sought to develop inhibitors targeting SHP2's catalytic site (protein tyrosine phosphatase domain, PTP).
