Purpose: To report a case series on using a novel semi-branch feature in custom-made stent-grafts in the endovascular treatment of complex aortic aneurysms and summarize the contemporary usage of this technology.
Case Series: Four patients underwent endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) with a custom-made semi-branch stent-graft (Semi-Branch Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair [SBEVAR]). Two male patients, 75- and 76-year-old, were treated due to failed EVAR with late-type Ia endoleak, and the other two, 80- and 55-year-old male patients, due to a juxta-renal aortic abdominal aneurysm (JRAAA).

The introduction of devices for endovascular dialysis access creation (WavelinQ and Ellipsys) offers practitioners more options for access management in dialysis patients. Especially in terms of reducing the usage of central venous catheters, a native fistula is desirable as an initial dialysis access. We present a case in which a failed WavelinQ type fistula was reactivated using the Ellipsys procedure on the same arm.

Objective: As aneurysmal disease is progressive, proximal disease progression and para-anastomotic aneurysms are complications experienced after open infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm repair (AAA). As such, fenestrated or branched endovascular repair (F/BEVAR) may be indicated in these patients. Data describing fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair after prior open repair are limited to institutional databases.

This study aimed to examine the effect of simulation training using a three-dimensional (3D)-printed patient-specific vascular model on the advanced vascular catheterization skills of experienced interventional radiologists (IRs). Two specific anatomic types of 3D-printed patient-specific models from two patients with challenging celiac axis arterial anatomy were constructed. The Global Rating Scale of Endovascular Performance (GRS-EP) was used to evaluate vascular insertion skills.

Background: Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) guidance has been shown to yield favorable outcomes for endovascular treatment of femoropopliteal artery (FPA) disease with drug-coated balloon (DCB) angioplasty. However, the specific benefits of IVUS for treatment of complex FPA lesions remain uncertain.
Objectives: In this study, the authors compared the clinical impact of IVUS-guided vs angiography-guided DCB angioplasty in patients with complex or noncomplex FPA lesions.
