Purpose: This work aims to raise a novel design for navigator-free multiband (MB) multishot uniform-density spiral (UDS) acquisition and reconstruction, and to demonstrate its utility for high-efficiency, high-resolution diffusion imaging.
Theory And Methods: Our design focuses on the acquisition and reconstruction of navigator-free MB multishot UDS diffusion imaging. For acquisition, radiofrequency-pulse encoding was used to achieve controlled aliasing in parallel imaging in MB imaging.

Background: Vascular thymus transplantation has been explored in animal models but remains untested in humans. Current approaches to congenital athymia involve avascular transplantation of allogeneic thymic tissue, which may delay immune recovery. Building on animal studies, we propose revascularization of thymic tissue in a human model.

In the face of advancements in health care and a shift towards healthy lifestyle, diabetes mellitus (DM) still presents as a global health challenge. This chapter explores recent advancements in the areas of genetic and molecular underpinnings of DM, addressing the revolutionary potential of CRISPR-based genome editing technologies. We delve into the multifaceted relationship between genes and molecular pathways contributing to both type1 and type 2 diabetes.

The Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILCs) are a family of innate immune cells composed by the Natural Killer (NK) cells and the helper ILCs (hILCs) (ILC1, ILC2, ILC3), both developing from a common ILC precursor (ILCP) derived from hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). A correct ILC reconstitution is crucial, particularly in patients receiving HSC transplantation (HSCT), the only therapeutic option for many adult and pediatric high-risk hematological malignancies. Indeed, mainly thanks to their cytotoxic activity, NK cells have a strong Graft-versus-Leukemia (GvL) effect.

Aim: Despite the clinical importance and significant social burden of neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) in dementia, the underlying neurobiological mechanism remains poorly understood. Recently, neuroimaging-derived brain-age estimation by machine-learning analysis has shown promise as an individual-level biomarker. We investigated the relationship between NPS and brain-age in amnestic mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early dementia.
