The pseudogap phenomena have been a long-standing mystery of the cuprate high-temperature superconductors. The pseudogap in the electron-doped cuprates has been attributed to band folding due to antiferromagnetic (AFM) long-range order or short-range correlation. We performed an angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy study of the electron-doped cuprates PrLaCeCuO showing spin-glass, disordered AFM behaviors, and superconductivity at low temperatures and, by measurements with fine momentum cuts, found that the gap opens on the unfolded Fermi surface rather than the AFM Brillouin zone boundary.

Symbiotic interactions drive species evolution, with nutritional symbioses playing vital roles across ecosystems. Chemosynthetic symbioses are globally distributed and ecologically significant, yet the lack of model systems has hindered research progress. The giant ciliate and its sulfur-oxidizing symbionts represent the only known chemosynthetic symbiosis with a short life span that has been transiently cultivated in the laboratory.

Purpose: Electrodiagnostic (EDX) testing is commonly used in conjunction with symptoms and physical examination findings to diagnose cubital tunnel syndrome (CuTS). The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between preoperative EDX diagnosis and the degree of Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder, and Hand (DASH) improvement after surgery within the CuTS patient population.
Methods: A retrospective review was designed to analyze patients from a single institution who underwent a cubital tunnel release.

Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) technology is a groundbreaking and dynamic molecular tool for DNA and RNA "surgery". CRISPR/Cas9 is the most widely applied system in oncology research. It is a major advancement in genome manipulation due to its precision, efficiency, scalability and versatility compared to previous gene editing methods.

Idlers are essential to conveyor systems, as well as supporting and guiding belts to ensure production efficiency. Proper idler maintenance prevents failures, reduces downtime, cuts costs, and improves reliability. Most studies on idler fault detection rely on supervised methods, which depend on large labelled datasets for training.
