Eyes area is of high importance in esthetic dermatology. This area is one of the most difficult for procedures. Skillful treatment can significantly improve the quality of patients' life. The aim of the study was to present and differentiate a variety of changes observed in the eye area and factors stimulating their appearance and enhancing intensity. This article also presents treatment methods in the field of esthetic dermatology, which are used in the in the following problems: eyelid edema, fatty bags under the eyes, vascular circles under the eyes, pigment shadows, periorbital melanosis, structural shadows, tear trough, wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity and dry skin around the eyes. Their correct diagnosis requires the knowledge of the characteristics of the skin structure within the eye area and also the mechanisms responsible for disorders in its functioning. Many patients and people performing procedures, limit the problems within eye area to a generalized division into shadows, swelling and wrinkles under the eyes and probably to one selected form of therapy. However, as it has been shown in this review, the variety of defects is large. Actions in case of problems with skin around the eyes require a systemic, multi-specialist.

Purpose: Neurotrophic keratopathy is part of the leprosy sequelae and causes progressive deterioration of visual acuity. Although leprosy is bacteriologically curable, there is currently no efficient treatment. Eye drops containing tetrapeptides, phenylalanine-glycine-leucine-methionine-amide (FGLM-NH) and serine-serine-serine-arginine (SSSR), derived from substance P and insulin-like growth factor 1, are clinically efficacious in the treatment of corneal epithelial disorders caused by neurotrophic keratopathy.

Bhasan Char has undergone noteworthy transformations in its geographical characteristics since its emergence in 2003. Driven by sediment transported by the Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna river system, the island has gradually transitioned from a stretched-out configuration to a more rounded shape primarily due to continuous accretion, while erosion has been minimal since 2012. Currently, the island is being prepared to accommodate over 1 million Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) refugees.

Background: Evaluation of regional left ventricle function using two-dimensional echocardiography (2DE) in patients with ischemic heart disease has limitations due to its low objectivity and qualitative nature. In addition, 2DE is limited because multiple acoustic windows are used to obtain the image, whereas three-dimensional echocardiography (3DE) uses a single window. This study aims to demonstrate the clinical utility of 3DE segmental volume analysis for evaluating regional wall motion abnormality (RWMA).

Purpose: To evaluate the utility of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values of extraocular muscles (EOMs) in differentiating activity of thyroid eye disease (TED).
Method: Forty-two TED patients who underwent diffusion tensor imaging(DTI) were retrospectively enrolled in this study, including 29 patients in analysis group and 13 patients in validation group. The mean, maximum and minimum ADC value of each EOM were regarded as ADCmean, ADCmax and ADCmin.
