Primary gastrointestinal non-Hodgkin's lymphomas are rare tumors which account for about 0.9% of all gastrointestinal tract tumors. They are usually associated with inflammatory bowel disease, previous radiotherapy, and renal transplantation. We report a case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma involving the ileocecal region in a 46-year-old gentleman who presented with acute abdominal pain that mandated emergency laparotomy.

Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) is a very effective method in the treatment of dehiscent, infected, and non-healing wounds. Difficult wound healing occurs especially in late pregnancy due to the rapid enlargement of the uterus and the constantly increasing tension of the entire abdominal wall. In cases of dehiscence of the surgical wound during pregnancy, proper subsequent treatment is needed, where it is necessary to consider the safety of the mother as well as the fetus.

Abdominal pain is a common presenting symptom among patients visiting the hospital. A wide range of differential diagnoses are associated with this presentation, some of which are more uncommon than others, and require a higher degree of clinical suspicion and radiological excellence to diagnose. Although clinicians rely on physical assessment, examining a patient who is agitated and non-cooperative sometimes limits the physical exam findings, making these diagnoses even more challenging.

We report a rare case of adenosquamous carcinoma of the gall bladder (GB) causing portal vein tumor thrombus. A 40-year-old gentleman presented with acute-onset right upper abdominal pain. Ultrasonography revealed multiple calculi in the GB with wall thickening, suggesting acute cholecystitis.
