Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is one of the most common anomalies in neonates. Diaphragmatic agenesis (DA) is rare and is considered at the extreme spectrum of CDH, it is associated with a higher rate of multiple anomalies. A male neonate with antenatal diagnosis of CDH and hydrocephalus was born at estimated gestational age of 36 + 4 weeks by emergency Caesarean section due to fetal distress. Chest x-ray showed a common pleuroperitoneal cavity with the liver, spleen, and stomach seen in the thoracic cavity suggesting the diagnosis of bilateral absence of the diaphragm, the neonate died after an hour and a half. DA associated with hydrocephalus has never been previously reported in the literature.

Current understanding of changes in fluid distribution in response to the application of compression in primary lymphedema (PLE) is limited. This study measured fluid distribution before and after one application of standardized intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) in the lower limbs of people with PLE, compared with those without lymphedema. High-frequency ultrasound (HFU) was used to measure dermal fluid, bioimpedance to measure segmental fluid, and percent water content (PWC) to measure fluid at specific anatomical points.

This study evaluated the static, postural, dynamic, and clinical outcomes among five groups of patients: a bilateral CTEV (congenital talipes equinovarus) group treated with tenotomy (n = 14), bilateral CTEV group treated conservatively (n = 6), unilateral CTEV group treated with tenotomy (n = 7), unilateral CTEV group treated conservatively (n = 3), and control group (n = 20). Data were collected through baropodometric examinations and clinical evaluations using Pirani, clubfoot assessment protocol, foot and ankle disability index (FADI), and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society scores. Bilateral CTEV patients treated with tenotomy showed no statistically significant differences compared to healthy controls.

Background: Cleft lip and/or palate is the most common congenital orofacial deformity, affecting 1/800 births. A thorough review of the literature has shown that children with cleft have poorer oral hygiene and dental health than other children, with higher levels of caries in both temporary and permanent teeth and poorer periodontal health. Cleft patients are treated by a multidisciplinary team that aims to provide comprehensive care from pre- or post-natal diagnosis to early adulthood and the end of growth.

Case: An 8-year-old girl with NF1 and congenital tibial dysplasia with significant bilateral tibial bowing underwent McFarland procedures. Now age 22 with 14-year follow-up indicating sustained correction and healing of her bilateral limb deformities.
Conclusion: This case illustrates the McFarland procedure provided adequate corrective treatment of this deformity and remains a success at long-term follow-up.
Aim: This study aims to determine how often Achilles tenotomy is performed on patients who have congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV) and have been managed with Ponseti serial casts.
Materials And Methods: This prospective cohort study took place from November 2021 to May 2023 in the orthopedic unit of Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, Pakistan. About 38 pediatric patients with CTEV, who received treatment in the form of Ponseti casting, were enrolled in the study.
