Background: Health misinformation undermines responses to health crises, with social media amplifying the issue. Although organizations work to correct misinformation, challenges persist due to reasons such as the difficulty of effectively sharing corrections and information being overwhelming. At the same time, social media offers valuable interactive data, enabling researchers to analyze user engagement with health misinformation corrections and refine content design strategies.

Despite the increasing demand for sustainable development of pharmaceutical companies due to the rigorous pressure of environmental regulation, public health crisis and economic competition, there has been little research on relevant evaluation models. The COVID-19 experience has also prompted investors in pharmaceutical companies to re-examine the impact of environment and ethics on business development. Therefore, pharmaceutical companies need to focus on their performance, especially on the shift from a single financial performance to an integrated performance.

In this article, we describe how the landscape of hospital pharmacy has changed over the last 20 years. As well as commenting on the impact of COVID-19 on services, we describe five major advancements namely: clinical pharmacy services, the development of multi-professional teams, policy changes, attitudes to using and producing evidence, advances in technology and workforce development. Finally, there is brief comment around the future challenges for hospital pharmacy in the UK.
