AI Article Synopsis

  • Many cases of swallowing-induced atrial tachycardia need a procedure called radiofrequency catheter ablation for a lasting solution.
  • In one instance, a patient with a genetic condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy saw their arrhythmia resolve temporarily.
  • This improvement was achieved with a short-term prescription of a medication called verapamil.
